The Messengers

The CW's latest genre series begins with a group of five seemingly unconnected strangers dying from an energy pulse when a mysterious object crashes into the Earth. But they aren't dead for long. When they awaken a few hours later, they discover that they have gained new superpowers, which they will have to put to good use: it seems that an apocalypse is coming, and these five people are the only ones who can prevent it.
